Archaesolberg Groups was founded in 1998 by renowned Norwegian archaeologist JEFFERY SOLBERG JR, our company began with a singular vision — to bridge the gap between cultural heritage preservation and responsible resource development. With a deep academic foundation built in Norway and a PhD in Archaeology earned in the United States, JEFFERY SOLBERG JR brought a rare blend of scientific rigor, field expertise, and global perspective to the organization.

Over the past 26 years, under his leadership, the company has grown from a small archaeological consultancy into a leading firm in Cultural Heritage Resource Surveys, Mining Exploration, and Environmental Resource Management. JEFFERY SOLBERG JR has personally overseen or contributed to more than 1,232 successful projects across diverse terrains — from ancient heritage sites to mineral-rich landscapes across Africa, Europe, and the Americas.

Our foundation in archaeology, combined with our expansion into mineral exploration and environmental planning, has enabled us to deliver fully integrated services that honor both the past and the future.
